Open Call for Tenders for the Organization of the
23rd IACM Computational Fluids Conference (CFC 2025)
With this document, letters of intent are invited from current IACM members for hosting the 23rd IACM Computational Fluids Conference.
According to the IACM Rotation Policy, the next CFC should be held, in principle, in Spring 2025 and in The Americas region. However, if no suitable proposals from the region are submitted, the IACM reserves the privilege to consider those from other regions.
1.- Letters of intention can be submitted by any IACM group of organizers affiliated with one or more IACM member associations supporting the organization (hereafter referred to as the “Congress Organizers”) and shall include the following information:
- The motivation for submitting the bid
- Proposed location and dates
- Congress Chairperson(s)
- Organizing Committee
- Supporting Organizations
- Anticipated financial support of the destination, if any
2.- These initial documents will be evaluated, and the best options will be shortlisted by the Executive Council of the IACM. At least two candidates will be shortlisted.
3.- The process will respect the following schedule:
- 20 July 2023: Official open call
- 10 October 2023: Submission of letters of intention
- November 2023: Shortlist by the IACM EC
Full bid packages will be prepared at a later stage with the IACM Secretariat, and only by the shortlisted destinations. Interested candidates can request any further detail by contacting the IACM Secretariat at .
