Open Call for Tenders for the Organization of the 3rd IACM Digital Twins in Engineering Conference (DTE 2025)

With this document, letters of intent are invited from current IACM members for hosting the 3rd IACM Digital Twins in Engineering Conference (DTE 2025).

According to the IACM Rotation Policy, the next DTE should be held, in principle, in Spring/Autumm 2025 in the Europe-Middle East-Africa and Asia-Pacific regions. However, if no suitable proposals from those regions are submitted, the IACM reserves the privilege to consider proposals from other regions.

1. Letters of intention can be submitted by any IACM group of organizers affiliated with one or more IACM member associations supporting the organization (hereafter referred to as the “Congress Organizers”) and shall include the following information:

  • The motivation for submitting the bid
  • Proposed location and dates
  • Congress Chairperson(s)
  • Organizing Committee
  • Supporting Organizations
  • Identification of the local, national and regional stakeholders and how they are expected to collaborate for the congress
  • Anticipated financial support of the destination, if any

    • 2.- These initial documents will be evaluated and the best options will be shortlisted by the Executive Council of the IACM. At least two candidates will be shortlisted.

    3.- The process will respect the following schedule:

  • 13 December 2023: Official open call
  • 1 February 2024: Deadline for submission of letters of intention
  • March 2024: Shortlist by the IACM EC
