The Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering in the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary is pleased to invite applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Materials Modelling and Computational Mechanics. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2023.

We are seeking an emerging scholar with an original and innovative research program related to materials modelling and computational mechanics to establish a strong research program within the University of Calgary and the Department. Expertise in non-linear computational mechanics, with an emphasis on material modelling, coupled multi-physics and multi-scale problems is desired.
