Postdoctoral Position in Computational Methods for Ceramic Matrix Composites at Columbia University
This initiative focuses on exploring the fundamental processes of pyrolysis-induced residual stresses in ceramic matrix composites (CMCs), targeting their application in high-temperature and high-strength environments. The project will develop innovative data-driven and physics-based multiscale multiphysics computational approaches. Candidates with expertise in these computational techniques as applied to composite manufacturing will be prioritized.
